Week 18 - Teacher's Dashboard - Wireframes

First of all, we improved the UI based on usability tests and the Hezi's advice.

The change is in the onboarding flow. Now we introduce Bobby before the kids start to add words to the dictionary. Bobby accompanies the process from the start. This way the kids form a connection with the character early in the process.

In addition, we realized we should focus on qualitative feedbacks instead of quantitive (rewards). This feedbacks have more impact on the kids and it's keep the focus on the goal of which is to reflect the discourse. Moreover, We've added different types of animations that can be shown based on the frequency of the cursing and the severity.

Furthermore, we improved the micro-copies with the help of Moran, in order to get bigger impact on the kids choice and behavior. For example, when Bobby is red: "I think it might hurt your friend"/Hey! It's really not nice to write this…" and when Bobby is green: "You excited me now! / "You're a really good friend!"

Secondly, after the speed menoritng, we started creating wireframes for the teacher's dashboard. The purpose of the app is also to reflect to the teacher the discourse between her pupils. Creating the dashboard will help us complete the educational process that children go through. We did a brainstorming to figure out what are the most relevant features that should be on a dashboard. Here are the requirements:

  • Login page

  • Popular curse words: - Filter by dates (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, custom range) - Filter by gender -Filter by classes (for shcool manager)

  • Export report of statistics (.CSV)

  • Class dictionary (edit, words, add words)

We created 2 different wirefarmes (swipe to see the second one). Later on this week, we will conduct a usability test with teachers, and examine what is more suitable for them.

On the technical side:

We created the basic table in Airtable (the db we will use). Now, we are working on getting the input from the in app keyboard and checking if input exists in the Airtable (via exposed Api).
