Focusing on a need and building a persona - Week 4

After group thinking and consulting with the course's staff, we decided to focus on another topic - Cyberbullying. Our goal for this week was to find our main need in our chosen research project - Cyberbullying as well as building our persona.

We have started the week posting a lot of posts in different social networks online, trying to find relevant parents whom their children were cyberbullied in social networks, to interview. We talked with two parents whose children had experienced cyberbullying. We got some interesting insights from the interviews that helped us build our main persona.

Moreover, we conducted interview with a school counselor, to understand how the education system copes with the phenomenon.

In addition, we have decided to conduct a small survey, for parents of children in ages 10-18, to learn a little bit more about their social networks habits and the connection between parents and children. We got 50 parents to answer our survey, and had some interesting insights from it.

We discussed our main need, built our persona and prepared a presentation with all the data we have gathered and our "How might we?" question.
