Speed mentoring - Week 9

Updated: Jan 5, 2021

During the last class, we were introducing our app idea to four talented mentors from the UX - user experience field.

The pitch was challenging - we had only 20 minutes with each one of the mentors and wanted to do our best effort on pitching for 2-3 minutes so that we will be able to ask the mentors questions and hear their feedback on our app idea and implementation.

We got some really interesting notes and comments from the mentors and they all though that our app idea is great and loved it!

Some of the repeated remarks were about our children users age - we thought we wanted to focus on teenagers in ages 11-13 but the mentors suggested to lower the age to 9-10 which is the age the kids are getting their smartphones this days and the age in which we can be more of a preventing tool and get more collaboration from them.

We talked about the feedbacks in the group and decided how to implement the ones we thought were relevant for our app.

We rewrote our user scenario with the implementations of the ideas, comments and notes we got from the mentors.

We had a great time and got very interesting feedbacks!
